EOTD: Happy Independence Day!

June 12 is our Independence Day.  And in line with the celebration I have created this look earlier.  This EOTD is inspired by the colors of the Philippine flag.  I have tweeted this a while ago.  Sorry for the poor picture quality, my mobile phone camera is not that good.  However, I've taken some pictures using my DSLR while I was doing my makeup for this post.  These pictures should be decent enough to illustrate how I came up with the look.

To start off, I've applied Laura Geller Spackle Tinted Under Make-up Primer Bronze (got this for free from Armie and will be doing a separate review for the primer and brushes) using my brand spanking new Real Techniques buffing brush.  =P  Then I applied my Sleek Creme to Powder Foundation using the Real Techniques expert face brush.  Set everything except the eye with my Ellana HD powder (White Chocolate) using the Real Techniques setting brush.  I used my Urban Decay Primer Potion and NYX Jumbo Eye Pencil (Milk) all over the eye.  Did my brows using my IN2IT waterproof eyebrow pencil and topped it off with a dark brown eyeshadow from the Beauty Pro Cosmetics Sweet and Smokey palette.

All eyeshadows used are from the Beauty Pro Cosmetics Crazy Colour Palette.  I took the white e/s and placed it on the inner third of the lid.  Then took the yellow e/s and placed it at the center of the lid.  Then took the red e/s which is next to the yellow e/s and placed it on the outer third of the lid.  I used my Charm Pro flat shader brush to pack on the colors.

I then took a mix of the two blue e/s from the second row of the palette and placed it on the crease blending upwards using my Charm Pro crease brush.  Then took the aqua blue e/s at the top row and blended it slightly above the crease using my Charm Pro blending brush.  I used the black e/s from the same palette and softly lined the upper lash line using my Charm Pro angled brush.  I also lined my lower waterline with my Urban Decay 24/7 liner in Zero.

Placed the white e/s on the brow bone and blended it downwards meeting the blue.  Then using my Charm Pro pencil brush I smudged the darkest blue e/s on the outer half of the lower lash line and used the yellow e/s on the inner half.  I then lightly smudged the same red e/s underneath the blue and yellow.  Curled my lashes using my Fanny Serrano eyelash curler and applied some Clinique HD mascara in black.

And that's how I came up with this EOTD.  Sorry if the colors in the pictures seem inconsistent as I was shooting using natural daylight and it kept on changing from sunny to overcast then sunny again.  Next thing I know the sun was already setting.  =P xoxo

*P.S.  All products mentioned were purchased with my own money unless otherwise stated.
