About Me

I'm Anna Escondo, a Manila-based freelance hair and makeup artist specializing in HD and airbrush techniques while maintaining a full time IT career.

My formal training/education in makeup artistry started when I enrolled at Maquillage Professionnel taking up the course "Module 1: Facial beauty, Fashion & Photography Make up for Professional Artists".  I have also attended their "Module 4: Personal Beauty Make Up" course.  I am still planning to pursue their other modules in the near future.  Another course I've attended was the Personal Makeup Session sponsored by Shu Uemura at Center for Aesthetic Studies.

I have also trained in airbrush makeup at Glambox Airbrush Cosmetics under Ms. Anna Vanessa Lo.  And most recently took up bridal hair styling at Glambox and extensive hair styling at Suesh both with Ms. Dara Plan.

Right now, I am balancing my corporate job with my passion for makeup.  While my portfolio is still in the works, this blog should help me showcase my skills in hair and makeup artistry (and hopefully in photography as well).
